After many weeks of anticipation, Wednesday the 27th at Apple’s Tablet event, they announced some specs of their upcoming product which will be called the Ipad

Heres some specs

– Apple’s own 1 GHz Apple A4 chip

– 16 – 64 GB of Flash storage

– Bluetooth () 2.1

– 802.11n

– 10 hours of battery life

– Speaker, microphone and 30-pin connector

– Fully multi-touch

– 9.7 inch IPS LED backlit LCD

– Half an inch thick

– Accelerometer and Compass

– 3G UMTS/HSPDA and GSM/EDGE data (optional)

– Assisted GPS and Digital Compass (3G version only)

– 3.5mm headphone jack

– VGA out support or AV out via dock connector and converter cable

RedSteel 2

When the Wii launched back in November of 2006, RedSteel was also released as one of the launch titles to show off the Wii’s capabilities of motion control. swinging the Wii remote in sword fights and pointing it at the right area on screen to aim your gun. Now just over 3 years later Ubisoft is releasing a second RedSteel game this time with Wii Motion Plus, it will be coming out in late March and you will have the option to buy the game bundled with Wii Motion Plus if you don’t already have the accessory. What are your thoughts? Ubisoft is going to need to step it up big time from the first installment, don’t get me wrong, RedSteel was a great game when it came out because it was one of the first and people could forgive it. Looking back on it today, it could use some major redesign.

Help Haiti

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week, you know that Haiti suffered a 7.0 magnitude earthquake which is very severe and the damage is massive, there are many ways to help and this is just a quick post about the many ways you can help and some are as lazy as texting!

Apple Tablet

Back about 13 years ago, Apple released the I slate Newton and it was revolutionary for it’s time, today we look back and laugh at how primitive it was, (a 4 megabyte card that was much bigger than today’s 32 gigabyte cards, black and white) but for 1997 it had a lot going for it such as handwriting recognition and a touch screen. Now Apple is releasing something called the Apple tablet. To me it looks like either a giant I Phone or a modern day I Slate. There are a lot of rumors about it such as 7 or 10 inch screen, 700 dollars or 1000 dollars, but more likely the latter in both cases. And even the release isn’t down to a day yet but it is expected to be released sometime in March or April. More updates will come in the upcoming weeks once more information is released, and when Apple unveils this device in late January, many questions will be answered. But for now, I just wanted to mention it and include a Pic!
